Transnational partner meeting #3
On December 1-2, project partners met in Čakovec, Croatia for the 3rd transnational project meeting. Project partners from Türkiye, Croatia, Spain, and Lithuania took part in productive discussions and planning of the future events.
After the welcome speech made by Mario Zamuda, the principal of Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec, the project partners discussed the current state of the project, its progress, updates, activities and dissemination events. The highlight of the meeting was the handbook that is being prepared by Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec with insight and feedback from all the projects partners.The meeting also served as a venue to provide an update to the project web site and its sustainability, as well as to discuss future events and tasks leading up to the next transnational project meeting in Spain scheduled for the spring of the next year.
Project partners also visited Humana Nova, a social co-operative operating in Čakovec. The co-operative is a social enterprise that operates in 3 areas: ecological, social and economic. Today, 45 employees are realizing their dreams at Humana Nova, among whom 25 are people with disabilities and 13 from other socially marginalized groups. The participants were left with positive impressions of this award-winning social enterprise and were impressed with their efforts to contribute to building tolerant social relations and balanced use of resources.
