Oltu Halk Eğitimi Merkezi / Oltu Public Training Centre (Türkiye)
Oltu Public Training Centre, established in 1975, is a non-formal training centre that has been offering training services to 1500-2000 citizens by organizing various (140-150) social-cultural and occupational-technical courses on various branches, employing principals, 5 staffed teachers, 3 qualified instructors and teachers for a fee. The purpose of the Centre is to provide lifelong training to people, enable participation of people in development projects utilizing public resources, to protect national cultural values, to develop and popularize open and universal culture. Other activities conducting at the Centre include conducting studies for education-production-employment, marketing and organizing, assisting individuals emigrated from rural areas to urban areas adapt to environment and training of traditional craftworks. The Centre offers services by subjecting to General Directorate of Apprenticeship and Non-formal Training, applying module programs for adult education. A fee is not charged to trainees, and a participation certificate is granted to trainees who have successfully finished in the course programme. There exist computer lab, workshops and classrooms for processing Oltu stone, silver, embroidery, knitting work and clothing as part of the Centre. Principals and trainers can transfer their knowledge obtained as a result of examinations and studies to their applications. |

Lietuvos jaunimo centras (Lithuania)
The Lithuanian Youth Center was founded in 2010. Its main goal is to promote positive youth initiatives as well as interaction and understanding between youths with different cultural or social backgrounds. Our organization seeks to shift the youth’s energy towards activities that bring benefit to the society and the country. The Center promotes and popularizes the ideas and values of young people. Progressive youths who are under umbrella of the centre encourage non-formal education, democratic reforms, social justice, the emergence of sociability, public spirit and equal opportunities for everyone. We believe that every person should be treated independently from his/her ethnicity, race, sexual orientation and religious belief. Members of organization are involved in various projects, which are mainly related to the dissemination of non-formal education in Lithuanian regions, social advertising and implementation of the projects that improve the levels of competence of young people. |

Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec / Public Open University Čakovec (Croatia)
Public Open University Čakovec is a public adult education institution and one of the leading adult education institutions in the Republic of Croatia. It is a member of the Croatian Association for the Education of Adults seated in Zagreb. It was founded in 1950 as Workers’ University, which was followed by a merger with People’s University in 1960. In 1989 it was renamed into Open University and finally in 1997 it became what it is today, Public Open University Čakovec, a public institution under the jurisdiction of the City of Čakovec. People’s University had several departments, which included the Cultural Centre, the Library, Međimurje County Museum, the Elementary Music School and the Education Centre. As the departments developed, they separated from the University and are autonomous even today. People’s University redirected towards adult education, which remains its specialty to this day. This lifelong learning centre has always evolved to meet the demands of our society. It remains a dynamic setting open to changes as well as social and economic influences dictating program structure and development. It welcomes everybody with a need for new knowledge and skills and the numerous available experts ensure the best possible education. |

TABALA is a Spanish non-profit cultural association that contributes to create long-term links between different persons and organizations. Our NGO promotes concepts of development, inclusion and importance of volunteering culture. As well, we promote solidarity and tolerance to foster the social cohesion and cooperation among different UE’s countries. The institution focuses on institutional capacity-building for individuals and institutions through training programs, conferences, workshops, as well as creation of partnerships with other institutions regionally and internationally providing a platform for the exchange of experiences. With the aim to increase knowledge and capacities of leaders by strengthening independent thinking, social tolerance, conflict management, free dialogue, and leadership. |
